About Dr. Kuthiala Allergy & Asthma

Dr. Chitra Kuthiala is a retired Captain of the US Navy has practiced her specialty of allergy, clinical immunology, and asthma in Jacksonville, Florida; Augusta, Georgia; and Washington, D.C. for almost 30 years. She completed her medical school at University of Delhi, India. Residency in pediatrics at the University of Florida and a fellowship in allergy and immunology at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington, D.C. She holds board certifications as Diplomate of the American Board of Allergy & Immunology, and the American Board of Pediatrics. She has lectured and published on various topics related to allergy and asthma. Dr. Kuthiala has been a member of the American Academy of Allergy Asthma & Immunology, the American College of Allergy Asthma & Immunology, Joint Council of the Allergy Asthma & Immunology, Pediatrics Association of Northeast Florida, Association of Military Allergist, Florida Allergy Society, and Indo-American Medical forum of Jacksonville. Dr. Kuthiala has spent countless charitable efforts within the community including the United Way of Northeast Florida, the American Lung Association, Asthma Clinic at the I.M. Sulzbacher Center for the Homeless, school physicals through the CAP clinics at Wolf son Children’s Hospital, and Volunteers in medicine Clinics for uninsured people.
