I wanted to share our experience because finding a good driving instructor turned out to be a lot harder than we expected. We originally started with Stop and Go Driving School, and it was incredibly frustrating. We bought their 10-hour package, but they continuously gave my wife bad progress reports. I ended up buying about 8 extra classes over several months, and it really felt like they were just stringing us along to keep getting paid without actually helping her improve. We finally decided to cut our losses and switched to Balan at Excel Driving School. The difference was night and day. Within exactly one week of driving with him, my wife passed her test and got her license. He just has a really great, practical way of breaking things down. He used a clever trick with a small piece of tape on the windshield to help her visually center the car in her lane. He also focused heavily on real-world driving situations rather than just the test—he took her into busy parking lots so she could practice parking under pressure, taught her how to control her speed smoothly, and really drilled in how to make safe decisions at tricky traffic lights and pre-watch the sides of the road before making turns. She is so much more confident behind the wheel now. I'm just really glad we finally found an instructor who was focused on genuinely building her skills and getting the job done instead of dragging out the process.
