Attended a 75th birthday part for a doctor friend and Mehekte Sur was the entertainer. We were all on the floor for over 2 hours on their Live singing and did not even feel the need for a DJ. Vinay recently hosted my daughter’s 5th birthday party and we all had a blast. He is a really good dj and anchor. He took great care to get to know us and curated the event as per my preference and played my daughter’s favorite songs. My 5 yr old enjoyed a full 4 hr event and dint get tired all thanks to him. He handled the entire event with ease and the crowd loved him. He had all the kids on the floor , conducted games for us and finally all adults also had a great time on the dance floor. Last fall (Oct 2023) for my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary, we wanted a unique live musician, and Dilshaan Music & Entertainment made the event truly memorable! From their live dhol during a recreation of my father’s baraat to lovely vocals of old Bollywood film songs and ghazals, accompanied by tabla, during dinner time, we were treated to something special. My parents were pleasantly surprised by the familiar selection of songs, which Dilshaan had customized as per our request list (even incorporating our native Sindhi folk culture). After dinner, though we were a relatively small group of 60, the singing and dhol up close at the dance floor was amazing…even got a few people to dance who hardly ever do! Last fall (Oct 2023) for my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary, we wanted a unique live musician, and Dilshaan Music & Entertainment made the event truly memorable! From their live dhol during a recreation of my father’s baraat to lovely vocals of old Bollywood film songs and ghazals, accompanied by tabla, during dinner time, we were treated to something special. My parents were pleasantly surprised by the familiar selection of songs, which Dilshaan had customized as per our request list (even incorporating our native Sindhi folk culture). After dinner, though we were a relatively small group of 60, the singing and dhol up close at the dance floor was amazing…even got a few people to dance who hardly ever do! A week before the event, we discussed in detail the event flow and finalized AV needs, so that traveling in from Raleigh NC to our gathering in Roanoke VA, the setup worked well. Vinay recently hosted my daughter’s 5th birthday party and we all had a blast. He is a really good dj and anchor. He took great care to get to know us and curated the event as per my preference and played my daughter’s favorite songs. My 5 yr old enjoyed a full 4 hr event and dint get tired all thanks to him. He handled the entire event with ease and the crowd loved him. He had all the kids on the floor , conducted games for us and finally all adults also had a great time on the dance floor. Friends giving and a mehfil that will be truly remembered due the efforts of Vinay and Aparna from Mehete Sur. I don’t know where to even start on how magnificent of a singer, entertainer and person she and her husband are. I hired them to sing at my Dad’s 70th birthday party. It was truly a magical day because of them. They are more than just singers. They were like family. Mehekte Sur is amazing! They are full of energy and we loved them. Great planning, attention to detail, and crowd engagement. Vinay had the right mix of retro, Bhangra and latest hits during the DJ segment. He is also very comedic so having him at your next event will be entertaining. Aparna and Vinay, both singers of this group are fantastic. We had their musical program in last weekend. About 175 people attended it and everybody loved their singing. Their selection of songs was very nice too. Even though all our members are seniors, they became young and were dancing with full energy with the songs and the music. Friends giving and a mehfil that will be truly remembered due the efforts of Vinay and Aparna from Mehete Sur. They had a unique way to become one of us (mind you we are middle school friends in our fifties) getting us all involved and even getting people with two left feet dance away. They both have great voices and more so the warmth and love they sing with. The range of songs from 1950 to 2022 they covered favourites and they truly became the jaan of our get together. This is one amazing Jodi! We connected so well in the initial conversation regarding my event, that I just had to find a way to make it work for them to sing in Chicago for my friends and family. We are big music enthusiasts so having them at our event really energized everyone in the room, from my 2 year old to my father in law and his senior friends. Saw them last night at Samudra in NJ. Have been hearing them on and off for a while but this was the first time that we heard them in close quarters. Their singing and confidence is par excellence. They have such a broad range in their voices that they can sing songs from several decades. My favorites are the songs from 60s and 70s.

Awesome experience. We hired Mehekte Sur to perform at our sangeet event. The cross cultural nature of our marriage made it all the more challenging. They were a big hit! Their warm and easy personality made it effortless to work with them as we created our sangeet event timeline and selected music. The most important thing to us was keeping everyone engaged and on the dance floor when the DJ played his music. Vinay and Aparna were able to provide a great sangeet experience,which also included traditional Punjabi live singing, for our diverse guests (Indian, non Indian, young, old) . We have gotten great feedback from our guests and cannot thank Mehekte Sur enough.

After having followed Mehekte Sur via FB videos for several months, we finally had the pleasure of experiencing a live performance this past weekend. Vinay and Aparna are absolutely fantastic. Their energy and chemistry is magical, and versatility is phenomenal. Five stars all the way!!

We had the great pleasure of having Mehekte Sur DJ for my wife's baby shower. They were excellent to say the least. They went above and beyond what we expected and we couldn't be more happier! We can't thank you enough for making our baby shower memorable!

We saw the Mehekte Sur jodi in action at our cousin's wedding. Aparna's rendition of the Punjabi folk songs was really good. Vinay's Emcee skills kept the crowd entertained and engaged and the best part was the natural on-stage chemistry between the lovely couple during the singing segment. Very unique. Highly recommended.

We hired Mehekte Sur for a b’day party. The most unique gift for the Birthday boy was the customized musical gift from Mehekte Sur. Excellent concept and a lifelong memory. The live singing was fabulous and took everyone’s breath away. Go Mehekte Sur !!!

Mehekte Sur did an amazing event for our Aroma Restaurant in Warren for Valentines day. It was simply amazing! Great song selections and fun crowd interaction. We would definitely think about this lovely couple for our future events. Good luck Mehekte Sur! Keep rocking!!!!

I was lucky to be at a party where the TV celebrities, Vinay and Aparna, were performing. Oh boy, they completely mesmerized the crowd with their rendition of some of the best Bollywood songs. I have become a huge fan and will certainly attend some of their future shows.

Fantastic live band! They did an incredible job with the garba and dhandia for our family wedding. So much energy, enthusiasm and the quality of music and singing was superb.

Had an amazing time at the Valentines Day Party where Mehekte Sur performed! My friends and I danced the night away to their mesmerizing voices. The lovely couple personalized the songs for each couple, making this Valentine's Day so much more special. They truly deserve the best!
