Rated 5.0 My family and friends celebrated an amazing ghazals night with Sankumani Sarama and Mir Naqibul Islam of Brooklyn on Tabla at our home in Alamo, CA. Looking for ghazals singers in Northern California, I came upon Mr Sarama ji's website. Booking with him was easy, his input on how to set up the stage and ambiance was highly appreciated. Sarama ji was very flexible with songs and time slots, which made our evening enjoyable. I think he’s the best we will get in the U.S., especially when it comes to ghazal. It’s not just the singing, but his professionalism when interacting with invited guests, he has a keen sense to balancing acoustics inside a home. Will not hesitant to invite him once again or be his reference in the future.

Rated 5.0 I was looking for a ghazal singer for my daughters reception.I happen to find a gem “Sankumani Sarama” He was definitely a treat to our soul. We were so impressed and mesmerized by his singing. He is the best in town.

You topped it off by doing riyaaz for my favourite song (Munni Begum -- Ek Baar Muskurado) that you had not sung before -- that was super special. Rated 5.0 This is the first time we had a Ghazal night in this area. Moving from a traditional Bollywood night to a Ghazal is definitely a big change, but I am glad that we did it. Everyone of us enjoyed his singing. Moreover his friendly personality made this Mehfil delightly soulful. Thank you Sankumani for coming to Saginaw to perform for the IAECM Republic day this year. Rated 5.0 Sankumani Ji was an absolute delight to have on a huge night for us. When he sang he touched not only ears but souls. His singing is extremely passionate and it was so wonderful having him. He made the night very special for the family. The tabla player was very professional as well. Would love to have both again.

He has a magical voice, He is friendly and engages his audience easily so that the experience is very pleasant for all. his repertoire in music is vast. I would recommend his very highly.

What started out as a one hour musical concert went on to over 3 hours of a wonderful musical evening! Can’t wait to have him over again for yet another fun filled melodious music evening at our new home.

We made the best choice by requesting Sankumani to perform in celebrating love. He is a one man show and brings many talents. I will recommend inviting "Treat For Your Soul" for not only celebrations but for a beautiful time that you may want to spend with your loved ones.

Your performance at our father’s 80th Birthday was mesmerizing....your voice is a gift that touches one and all, leaving us wanting for moreand more and more.... I was a little nervous at the start how Ghazals would be received by the Millennials and the younger genration but your melodious voice was too spell binding for them! Making me realize that your singing is truly a treat for EVERYONE’S soul. I can only wish that like many of us, others will also become privileged one day and hear you in a live performance! Rated 5.0 Sankumani’s concert is really what he says it is “A treat for your soul!” This was the second year in a row when we had Sankumani over at our place for a concert and boy what a fantastic evening we had. Our guests were blown away by his singing. “Sama Baandhna to koi Sankumani ji se seekhe”. When he starts singing, he leaves everyone spellbound by his mesmerizing voice. Takes us back to the good old days of the Jagjit Singhs and the Pankaj Udhaas’s of our times. What a great evening! Thank you Sankumani!

Rated 5.0 We invited Sankumani jee on my wife’s 40th birthday and were absolutely delighted to have him at our place. The party was themed on “Lucknow” and went very well. Here are a few things I would like to cover specially. 1. He really puts an effort to make your program a success He would seek your inputs and plan the program in-depth to really create a great impact 2. He is a purist Both my wife and I are critical music listerners, and Sankumani brings the purity in his performance - his singing, or harmonium or jugalbandi with tabla 3. He knows his gear I was kind of talking him in using my speakers, but Sankumani knows his music gear.. It all worked out very well for us and hopefully we would be doing this again soon

Rated 5.0 "I had the opportunity to listen to Mr. Sarma in person when he came to perform at my husband's 40th birthday party. Me and my husband are big fan of Gazal Maestro Jagjit Singh and we were totally impressed with Mr. Sarma's singing and style of engaging the audience. He made the interactions and Gazals very personal. He took extra time to know about our event,our liking of music and songs. The evening was phenomenal and still the talk of town! He is very genuine person who keeps really a very high standard for his performance and music. He was on time for the event and went extra mile taking request from the audience.I surely would recommend him without any reservation.

Rated 5.0 I stumbled onto Mr. Sankumani's website as I was browsing for people in US doing live ghazals. I was organizing my dad's 70th birthday party and wanted to do something special for him. We invited Sankumaniji to Orlando, FL for my dad's birthday celebration. It was a fabulous event!! My parents and all their guests absolutely loved Sankumani ji's ghazals, his melodious beautiful voice and also the tabla player from Tampa. I would highly recommend him for any of your special events. Thank you Sankumani ji for giving us a great evening.
