Attended a 75th birthday part for a doctor friend and Mehekte Sur was the entertainer. We were all on the floor for over 2 hours on their Live singing and did not even feel the need for a DJ. The best thing was that they were on the flooor dancing with us. I have never seen anything like this before.

Vinay recently hosted my daughter’s 5th birthday party and we all had a blast. He is a really good dj and anchor. He took great care to get to know us and curated the event as per my preference and played my daughter’s favorite songs. My 5 yr old enjoyed a full 4 hr event and dint get tired all thanks to him. He handled the entire event with ease and the crowd loved him. He had all the kids on the floor , conducted games for us and finally all adults also had a great time on the dance floor. Last fall (Oct 2023) for my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary, we wanted a unique live musician, and Dilshaan Music & Entertainment made the event truly memorable! From their live dhol during a recreation of my father’s baraat to lovely vocals of old Bollywood film songs and ghazals, accompanied by tabla, during dinner time, we were treated to something special. My parents were pleasantly surprised by the familiar selection of songs, which Dilshaan had customized as per our request list (even incorporating our native Sindhi folk culture). After dinner, though we were a relatively small group of 60, the singing and dhol up close at the dance floor was amazing…even got a few people to dance who hardly ever do! They were amazing. Kept the party moving when there was a slow part. Their choice of music was perfect. I didn't give a playlist because I wasn't very familiar with Punjabi music. I was the photographer for an event where vinay was managing. There were 3-4 games where literally everyone from the guests played and kudos to vinay for including in them.

Had them for my parents surprise 25th anniversary as DJ/MC and live singing and they were amazing. The crowd was engaged for the entire duration of the party ranging from teens to grandparents. Last fall (Oct 2023) for my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary, we wanted a unique live musician, and Dilshaan Music & Entertainment made the event truly memorable! From their live dhol during a recreation of my father’s baraat to lovely vocals of old Bollywood film songs and ghazals, accompanied by tabla, during dinner time, we were treated to something special. My parents were pleasantly surprised by the familiar selection of songs, which Dilshaan had customized as per our request list (even incorporating our native Sindhi folk culture). After dinner, though we were a relatively small group of 60, the singing and dhol up close at the dance floor was amazing…even got a few people to dance who hardly ever do! A week before the event, we discussed in detail the event flow and finalized AV needs, so that traveling in from Raleigh NC to our gathering in Roanoke VA, the setup worked well. Vinay recently hosted my daughter’s 5th birthday party and we all had a blast. He is a really good dj and anchor. He took great care to get to know us and curated the event as per my preference and played my daughter’s favorite songs. My 5 yr old enjoyed a full 4 hr event and dint get tired all thanks to him. He handled the entire event with ease and the crowd loved him. He had all the kids on the floor , conducted games for us and finally all adults also had a great time on the dance floor. It’s tricky to handle a kids party and entertain kids and adults alike. Can’t recommend him enough

Friends giving and a mehfil that will be truly remembered due the efforts of Vinay and Aparna from Mehete Sur. Aparna and Vinay, both singers of this group are fantastic. We had their musical program in last weekend. About 175 people attended it and everybody loved their singing. Their selection of songs was very nice too. Even though all our members are seniors, they became young and were dancing with full energy with the songs and the music. Friends giving and a mehfil that will be truly remembered due the efforts of Vinay and Aparna from Mehete Sur. They had a unique way to become one of us (mind you we are middle school friends in our fifties) getting us all involved and even getting people with two left feet dance away. They both have great voices and more so the warmth and love they sing with. The range of songs from 1950 to 2022 they covered favourites and they truly became the jaan of our get together. This is one amazing Jodi! We connected so well in the initial conversation regarding my event, that I just had to find a way to make it work for them to sing in Chicago for my friends and family. Saw them last night at Samudra in NJ. Have been hearing them on and off for a while but this was the first time that we heard them in close quarters. Their singing and confidence is par excellence. They have such a broad range in their voices that they can sing songs from several decades. My favorites are the songs from 60s and 70s.

Awesome experience. We hired Mehekte Sur to perform at our sangeet event. The cross cultural nature of our marriage made it all the more challenging. They were a big hit! Their warm and easy personality made it effortless to work with them as we created our sangeet event timeline and selected music. The most important thing to us was keeping everyone engaged and on the dance floor when the DJ played his music. Vinay and Aparna were able to provide a great sangeet experience,which also included traditional Punjabi live singing, for our diverse guests (Indian, non Indian, young, old) . I saw the Mehekte Sur jodi in action at the Nirvana Anniversary celebration. They were awesome with their live singing as well as the DJ music which had everyone on the floor. Great selection of songs - Punjabi, Gujarati, Bollywood..... Vinay was proactive and had our tracks for our dance performance all set up beforehand. Highly recommended!

After having followed Mehekte Sur via FB videos for several months, we finally had the pleasure of experiencing a live performance this past weekend. Vinay and Aparna are absolutely fantastic. Their energy and chemistry is magical, and versatility is phenomenal. Five stars all the way!!

Vinay's Emcee skills kept the crowd entertained and engaged and the best part was the natural on-stage chemistry between the lovely couple during the singing segment. Very unique. We hired Mehekte Sur for a b’day party. The most unique gift for the Birthday boy was the customized musical gift from Mehekte Sur. Excellent concept and a lifelong memory. The live singing was fabulous and took everyone’s breath away. Go Mehekte Sur !!!

Mehekte Sur did an amazing event for our Aroma Restaurant in Warren for Valentines day. It was simply amazing! Great song selections and fun crowd interaction. We would definitely think about this lovely couple for our future events. Good luck Mehekte Sur! Keep rocking!!!!

I was lucky to be at a party where the TV celebrities, Vinay and Aparna, were performing. Oh boy, they completely mesmerized the crowd with their rendition of some of the best Bollywood songs. I have become a huge fan and will certainly attend some of their future shows.

Fantastic live band! They did an incredible job with the garba and dhandia for our family wedding. So much energy, enthusiasm and the quality of music and singing was superb.
