Friends giving and a mehfil that will be truly remembered due the efforts of Vinay and Aparna from Mehete Sur. They had a unique way to become one of us (mind you we are middle school friends in our fifties) getting us all involved and even getting people with two left feet dance away. Attended a 75th birthday part for a doctor friend and Mehekte Sur was the entertainer. We were all on the floor for over 2 hours on their Live singing and did not even feel the need for a DJ. The best thing was that they were on the flooor dancing with us. I have never seen anything like this before.

Vinay recently hosted my daughter’s 5th birthday party and we all had a blast. He is a really good dj and anchor. He took great care to get to know us and curated the event as per my preference and played my daughter’s favorite songs. My 5 yr old enjoyed a full 4 hr event and dint get tired all thanks to him. He handled the entire event with ease and the crowd loved him. He had all the kids on the floor , conducted games for us and finally all adults also had a great time on the dance floor. It’s tricky to handle a kids party and entertain kids and adults alike. Can’t recommend him enough. ??

We had invited the group “Mehekte Sur” for my in-laws 50th marriage anniversary celebrations. Husband wife duo were fantastic singers. They sang old Hindi Bollywood songs, as well as Marathi, Gujrati and Bengali. Truly versatile singers who could sing old and new songs both. Last fall (Oct 2023) for my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary, we wanted a unique live musician, and Dilshaan Music & Entertainment made the event truly memorable! From their live dhol during a recreation of my father’s baraat to lovely vocals of old Bollywood film songs and ghazals, accompanied by tabla, during dinner time, we were treated to something special. My parents were pleasantly surprised by the familiar selection of songs, which Dilshaan had customized as per our request list (even incorporating our native Sindhi folk culture). After dinner, though we were a relatively small group of 60, the singing and dhol up close at the dance floor was amazing…even got a few people to dance who hardly ever do! A week before the event, we discussed in detail the event flow and finalized AV needs, so that traveling in from Raleigh NC to our gathering in Roanoke VA, the setup worked well. This duo recently DJ'd and hosted a surprise party I attended. I had so much fun. The music was fantastic. They joined in the fun. They were also super nice.

They were amazing. Kept the party moving when there was a slow part. Their choice of music was perfect. I didn't give a playlist because I wasn't very familiar with Punjabi music. But their selection was absolutely fantastic. They set me up with Bhangra dancers and a DHOL player. Coordinated with all of them for timing and music selection. It was absolutely fantastic. It was everything we wanted for the surprise birthday party.

Vinay has hosted my wife's babyshower and everyone had so much fun. He is very communicative before the event so that everything goes smoothly during the event. Plus he is also very adaptive and flexible as he stayed bit over the decided time as my friends were having ball playing garaba at the end of the event. Thank you so much for all your help. We recently had Binu & Regi perform at our home for a Ghazal night. They were very professional, from the planning phase to the day of the event everything went without a hitch. We were able to communicate virtually and they were very accommodating on what I wanted. On the day of the event, they came in seamlessly during the event and set everything up, so guests could easily transition from dinner to ghazal night. The evening was mesmerizing and everyone enjoyed the night so much that we did not want them to leave. They even were kind enough to take requests from the guests, despite the songs not being in my playlist. Some guests even took their referral from me to hire themselves. Prakashkumar Parmar & his team performed during our Diwali Party on 10/27/2024 with 400 plus members. his singing was excellent if I have to rate him in the scale of 1 to 10, 19 being highest. I will rate him 09. He started with Ganesh Stuti, A Malik Tere bade him prarthna, and all songs he sang were so good I could see audience like mesmerized, all listened very silently. People were keen for Garba that too went so well No words to express. I am sure Prakashkumar a bright future. Female singer was also excellent they were well rehearsed.
