About Fooks Foods

Fooks Foods is an Asian basic supply. We have credible Asian items from new vegetables, to snacks, extraordinary sauces, rice, noodles thus a great deal more.The only place in Athens where you can find decent fresh asian ingredients.It's a nice little Asian market with foods and ingredients friendly to a regular or vegan diet. Fooks carries canned jack fruit and agar powder which was difficult to find in other shops.There is a nice selection of Japanese/Asian sweets which my son will enjoy. He loves Pockey Sticks.well-stocked shop is a decent source for Asian groceries that are hard to find in Athens.

Rated 5.0 I just moved to the area from the west coast and was so sad to leave my pantry of Sichuanese ingredients behind. Lucky for me, Fooks had EVERYTHING I needed to replace it! Fooks even had items I had to mail-order back home, because not even the large Asian grocery stores in town carried them. I am giddy to have found this place. And Karen is awesome--so helpful and enthusiastic! Highly, highly recommend.

Rated 5.0 Fooks Foods is one of the best things going in Athens, GA. Karen carries the freshest foods I've found and there are new surprises every time I go in: live blue crabs, freshly shucked oysters, whole salmon--not to mention the vegetables & the tofu! You have to check it out. Great prices & lots of sweet treats & Lucky Cats
