Gnosis Chocolate, In 2006, Vanessa Barg (aka Chocolate Girl), began making chocolate as a gift for her health counseling clients motivated by her passion for health, nutrition, and flavor. She founded Gnosis Chocolate in 2008 and over the years, has been in distribution to Whole Foods Market and international markets, has been featured on Martha Stewart and Oprah, and was offered millions of dollars to sell her brand. But she chose not to sell out! She and her mother run Gnosis Chocolate and own 100% of the company, thereby maintaining complete authority on quality over quantity.
