On staff are award-winning jewelry designers and two of the finest jewelers in the Metroplex. One of our owners, Jim Rogers, has passed the top level of testing available for a jeweler and has earned the rank of Certified Master Bench Jeweler from Jewelers of America. He was even complimented by the testing judges who said "...His jewelry work is some of the finest we've seen in the United States." In addition to his superb abilities in custom cutting waxes of jewelry, fabricating jewelry and setting stones, he also cuts and polishes diamonds and gemstones. Assisting Jim is his wife and business partner, Lucinda Rogers. She also is an award-winning jewelry designer and has earned her Diamond Certificate from Gemological Institute of America. Additionally, she served as President of the Texas Jewelers Association, the third-largest state affiliate of Jewelers of America. Gold n Carats staff and owners live and work by the following code: Honesty, Integrity, and Quality.

She takes care of your jewelry, listens to what you want done, and tries to help you cut corners where you can if you're on a tight budget. I purchased my engagement ring and wedding band from her store, and have it cleaned on a regular basis. They also tighten any loose diamonds for free since I purchased it here, can weld them together for free too, and she'll clean your rings up for free, band too, before your wedding day so they look great for photos.
