About Gopal's Healthfoods
Gopal's Healthfoods begins with the story of a man inspired to share the spirituality he had learned during his travels to India. Back in the United States, Stefan Knueppel began traveling the country in an RV, selling books about higher consciousness. But he soon realized that food might be a more effective way to reach people. He started in San Diego, California, making snack bars by hand, and distributing them to local health food stores. In no time at all, his “spiritual snacks” took off. In 2002, Stefan opened Gopal's Healthfoods, and introduced a new line of organic, raw, plant-based snacks.
