Gorkha
Gorkha Durbar has a vast background and history. The name itself carries Nepalese history and civilization behind it. Gorkha Durbar as a restaurant tries to bring that flavor spicy taste of Himalayas and forces you feel that strong Gorkha scene while you dine. All of our spices are carefully selected and hand grinded. The main motto of the restaurant will be to serve the Nepali-Indian-Tibetan foods in unique style to every food lover. In Nepal there is one saying, “AthitiDevoVaba" it means guest are God and our mission is to make them happy either it is through our hospitality or through our taste. Been in restaurant business for past 15 years, the management and kitchen staffs know what they are doing and will make customers feel that the food worth every penny.
Rated 5.0 Best East Indian food I've eaten in years. Great friendly staff. Was given an awesome chai tea while waiting for my food that was a perfect blend of authentic spices and sweetness. Anish was very willing to explain the many dishes on the menu and so friendly. I will definitely be a repeat customer. This is authentic food made with authentic spices. So refreshing to find such a jewel of a restaurant. A myriad choices of dishes.
Rated 5.0 Gorkha Durban has a very large menue of meals from both India and Napal. The food was wonderful and the service was excellent. Very clean and comfortable. I was impressed with the quality of the food and the small details of the place.
Rated 5.0 The food was to die for! The staff was very outgoing, tended to all our needs and made sure any food questions were answered. The restaurant was extremely clean and very inviting. I will definitely be back!
