Born in Punjab, raised in New York, Gurkawal Sidhu is a Punjabi vocalist who aims to create an unique niche for himself in the Punjabi music industry by presenting distinct creative projects. Being inspired by likes of Jazzy B, Diljit and Master Saleem who have urbanized Punjabi music yet have managed to keep the roots of Punjabi music intact, Gurkawal plans to follow a similar path, which is to maintain the roots of Punjabi music while aiming to push the musical boundaries.
