Hemisfair
The Hemisfair Park Area Redevelopment Corporation (HPARC) was created by City Council in 2009 to redevelop the former site of the 1968 World’s Fair in San Antonio, Texas. HPARC is dedicated to the transformation of Hemisfair into a sustainable, self-funded urban district with residences, local businesses, unique programming and three parks—Yanaguana Garden, Civic Park (Phase II) and Tower Park (Phase III). Hemisfair is where San Antonio meets: it is a vibrant gathering place for a day with friends and the city’s biggest celebrations.
Rated 4.0 I love Yanaguana Garden, love the programming, can't wait until they have the money to build out this downtown space. Hemisfair truly belongs to everyone and is a place where people from all walks of life meet and play together. I hope they continue along the path of turning this place into a gem for the city.
Rated 4.0 When i ask my grandkids what park they would like to go to its always Hemisfair park. I see then go through everything at the park. I sit there and video tape them. Its an awesome experience. The splash pad is the best when u want to cool off. I join them and we have so much fun. We have lots of memories there and we keep making more.
