Rated 5.0 Sadly, abysmal service ruined lunch today. This never happened other times we were there. Food was served to part of the table, then the last lunch was brought after enough minutes for it to arrive cold. But we never saw the waitress again! I could go on and on but I will just say this never happened before at this place. Such a disappointment.

Rated 5.0 I had a great food experience here!!! I was surprised by the lentil soup ??!!!! It was great! The Vegetable Tandoori was good and so was the Chicken Kadai ( maybe spelled wrong) was great... I had a euphoric food expreince or I was just hungry ??Either way the food was bomb!!!!

Rated 5.0 Love this place! Recommend the Chicken Tikka Masala, Sag Aloo and Mango Lassi. The Naan bread is really tasty and they have super lunch specials, including the dishes mentioned previously.

Rated 5.0 In Sothern California most Himalayan restaurants have menus that primarily consist of Indian food, with maybe 1 or 2 Nepali and Tibetan options. Himalayan Cuisine makes a point to mainly serve Nepali and Tibetan, and the staff are actual Nepalis. Friendly service and tasty, authentic food.

Rated 5.0 We treated my grandson here on his recommendation. The food was great. We had chicken tikka masala,chicken briyani snd chicken with coconut milk. Nan bread plain and with garlic. The soup was lentil with caraway seeds. Every dish was delicious and prepared well . You have your choice of heat,mild,medium or spicey. The hot chai tea hit the spot on a cold night. I slept like a baby after a winderful meal and warming tea. I would recommend this place again snd again.

Rated 5.0 This is one of my favorite restaurants in San Diego. The food is excellent and the staff are so nice and polite. I have been many times and have never had a bad experience. We went for lunch on Mother's Day and the wait for our food was a bit longer than usual, but they were somewhat busy. Try the Chicken Tikka Masala!

Rated 5.0 Our recent visit was pretty good. Nearer to closing on a Saturday night. I ordered Buttered chicken and my daughter ordered Chicken tikka masala. Both very tasty. But I have to say the garlic cilantro naan was spectacular. We wanted baskets of it. The atmosphere was nice but the decor, somewhat dated. Plenty of staff on hand and quick service a plus.
