About Hindu Society Of Eastern Washington

We are a Hindu Society in the Tri-Cities Metropolitan area striving to encourage Hindu values in our community. We are a community formed in Tri- Cities area to spread the awareness of the rich Hindu culture, heritage and values. We were founded in 1992 by the initiative of like minded devotees as a place of worship. Now it has transformed and grown in to a thriving group by the participation of the the community. We strive to bring together the people of this region and also surrounding areas by performing weekly or monthly pujas, bhajans, cultural events and group participations. We also sponsor and celebrate all major Indian festivals like Diwali, Daseera, Pongal, Holi, Sankrant, etc. Educational and group activities for kids and adults are conducted to increase understanding about our culture and traditions. This is a not-for-profit organization, presently managed by self less devotion of its 10 member board. But we depend a lot on the support from the community, their initiative and participation. We all are constantly striving to improve our organization, community involvement and infrastructure for the benefit of all.
