About I-Mart International Market

The first Imart was opened in 1995 on the corner of Lemon Street and Terrace Road in Tempe (near the ASU Campus) by a Bangladeshi enterpreuner Syed Ali backed by a financier. Hisdeligence, hard work and amiable nature did not take much time to win a good group of loyal customers from the Bangladeshi community as well as other asians and americans. With greater public request, a branch was opened in Chandler in 2005 on the Southwest corner of Ray Road and Almaschool. After many years of success and steady growth, It is time now to expand IMART in a bigger and better store and carry a multitude of mainstream grocery, poultry, meat and sea-food products to cater to not only the Asian community but to all neighborhood Americans as a mainstream Grocery Store with Asian Specialty.Plans for adding an eat-in/catering restaurant serving ethenic food is also in place in it's new location - Northwest corner of Alma School and Ray Road, Chandler - 1250, North Alma School Road.
