Dr. Kimmel brings 20+ years of direct experience from her work in academic advising, instruction, and leading student retention initiatives at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, KS. Students served were in pursuit of all majors and degree programs, even willing to transfer to other institutions to achieve their goals. Dr. Kimmel has the knowledge and tools to empower students to move efficiently and productively forward in their degree objectives. Dr. Kimmel specializes in helping students transform challenges into opportunities by uncovering ways for students’ alternate (Plan B) degree and major choices to function as well or even better than their initial) (Plan A). Regardless of obstacles and challenges a student faces, Dr. Kimmel has the knowledge and resources to construct a degree completion plan for clients that empowers them to pursue their dreams.
