About India Bee Yoga LLC

India approaches her own practice of yoga from a place of genuine curiosity and wonder and aims to share this with her students. Her background is rooted in international grass-roots community development, women's empowerment and business, which has inspired a deep desire for her to contribute in a sustainable way toward a healthy community and planet. It is India's belief that mindfulness and yoga hold the key for this global transformation. Currently working on her MA in Resilient Leadership for Climate Justice at Naropa University, India is also an experienced registered yoga teacher at the 500 hour level with Yoga Alliance, a certified yoga nidra facilitator and life coach. She earned her bachelor’s degree in business and communication from Arizona State University, served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Bolivia, and holds an Executive Certificate in Global Negotiations from Thunderbird School of Global Management. India founded India Bee Yoga and created a yoga Nidra meditation app called Bee Mindful in hopes that the practice of meditation and mindfulness can be more accessible to all. She believes that in order for us to create shifts on a global scale towards peace, justice, and equality, we each need to begin with ourselves and allow that to ripple outward.
