Bhagavad Gita study or Bhakti Vriksha program is open to all to practice, grow and share the knowledge of Bhagavad Gita. It is an informal and fun way of studying the principles of Vedas.

To provide university campuses with vegetarian meals that are free, healthy, freshly prepared, karma-free, and Yoga-friendly (sattvic). Donations are used to support a not-for-profit initiative of karma-free food distribution across university campuses, elders in the community, and shelters for the homeless.

We call this project Krishna West because we do everything possible to make bhakti-yoga easy, relevant and enjoyable for Western people, without in any way compromising, diluting, or diminishing the purity and power of a glorious ancient tradition.

Yoga is more than just a physical exercise. The word “yoga” comes from the Sanskrit root Yuj which means to link up with or combine.

A Weekend Warrior is someone who dedicates a few hours a month distributing Srila Prabhupada’s transcendental books. Anyone can participate—children, students, parents, professionals, congregational members…anyone.

Many people think that vegetarianism means eating bland salad and vegetables. They surely haven’t visited the Hare Krishna’s! The Hare Krishna movement has been nicknamed “The Kitchen Religion”. Hare Krishna devotees are strict lacto-vegetarians and their culinary art has its roots in ancient Vedic culture.

New Goloka Community School (NGCS) is a registered non-profit organization with 501(c)3 status, and is also a registered homeschool with the state of North Carolina.
