Austin Vedic Cultural Center is an all-inclusive community of people who would like to go deeper into the devotional practice of yoga and meditation – Bhakti Yoga. By means of sharing books, meditation and food, we like to share our practice of love, yoga and meditation with everyone in Austin! We live in an age which grants us extraordinary conveniences and torrents of information. Yet the very technology designed for our well-being often serves only to isolate us from one another and distance us from the experience of all that is truly divine.

We have enjoyed seeing the kids in Sunday school classes and how they have applied what they have learned. The gathering is very active in the community.

I have been going to this ISKCON center with my family for more than six months and never let down. This place provides ultimate wisdom for all ages which is needed to make this world a better place. Sunday program includes Kirtan, discourse on Bhagvad Gita and delicious vegetarian lunch prasadam. Children are encouraged to participate in leading Kirtans, and ask questions. Every six months kids get an opportunity to act in dramas based on vedic scriptures. I advice everyone to visit this place.

The classes are excellent touching the practical day to day issues explainations based on philosophical texts. Finally the lunch was delicious and sumptuous. Children's Sunday school though for one hot only touches different aspects of scriptural teachings.
