About Islamic Center Of The Capital District

The Islamic Center of the Capital District (ICCD) of New York is a non-profit, non-political, religious and educational institute. The purpose of the ICCD is to advance the teachings of Islam according to the Holy Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and to serve the Muslim community in upstate New York. We also hope to serve as a bridge between the Muslim and non-Muslim communities here in the tri-city area to promote mutual learning and understanding. Our mosque is open for all five daily prayers and everyone is welcome to attend. Our newly built community center features a banquet hall, a full size indoor basketball court, gyms and various facilities and conference rooms.

Rated 3.0 Great place if you stay away from the politics and all the events they hold. Just simply pray and leave.these guys when they hold charitable even they should simple set the entry fees rather than keep begging its make people feel very awkward.
