Jozi's Kitchen & Shebeen is a fast casual restaurant, food truck and caterer featuring globally inspired dishes made from fresh locally grown ingredients. We feature dishes that are inspired by African, Indian, French, Dutch, and Malay cooking. You will find mild Indian curries, slow cooked stews,hardy sausages, salads, burgers and BBQ ribs on our menu. We are proud to produce and sell small batches of our hand-crafted Biltong, Droëwors, Apricot Jam, Blatjang Chutney, Monkey Gland Sauce and Peri Peri Sauce in our restaurant and online store.
Rated 5.0 I had mixed emotions over the "authenticity" this could possibly have. Boy was I wrong. I couldn't stop eating. Even after I was full, I kept munching away, pretty much for how damn amazing it is. Flavor was on point. Service was stellar. And they've got tennis biscuits and choc-kits. If you don't like the food here, you are wrong. Very very wrong. I'll make the 3 hour drive just to come eat here.
Rated 5.0 We were pleasantly surprised to find a great restaurant in Parker! This was our first exposure to South African food and really enjoyed it. Had the Oume's Bobotie which was sort of like a shepard's pie but with nuts and raisins mixed in with the meat laid over a bed of saffron rice. Looking forward to going back and trying other items on the menu.
Rated 5.0 The food at Jozi's Kitchen is splendid. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menus. Do not be afraid of the dish names, the funnier the name the better the dish!
Rated 5.0 It would be a five star except that what I ordered is not what I received. I ordered the Breakfast Pap (website says it's maize meal with milk, butter, and sugar). I received maize meal with tomato and onion gravy (advertised as Train Smash) with a side of two eggs. I didn't send it back because I really didn't have the time, and everything I order from here is always incredibly tasty—this mishap being no exception.
