Major's Motor Works all about? Learning to drive! However, the first thing that people want to know is, what’s up with the name? The name seems to say that we are either an automotive sales company, or are involved in car repair. No, that isn’t it at all. Major’s Motor Works is a company that teaches people how to drive. In the future we hope to also be involved in many other aspects of innovation in the automotive field and the name gives us that flexibility. It doesn’t hurt that it is also my nickname. Our goal at Major’s Motor Works is to instill in our students the confidence and the ability to drive, no matter what their age. The fact that we emphasize safety first by minimizing distractions and concentrating on driving so that you can become a good driver is no mistake. It works!. Now some will say that what we are teaching is old school. Well, if “Old School” is; using your turn signals whenever you are making a turn, or looking over your shoulder into the blind spot before changing lanes, putting your arm over the chair and looking behind you before backing up, or not using your phone/texting while driving, then you are right! “Old School” methods still work, we teach them, right along with all of the latest new training methods.
