Rated 5.0 I met with Dr Mersol-Barg for the first time yesterday. What a kind, caring, compassionate, and down to earth doctor! He spent so much time with me. We talked and shared our own experiences, he could empathize in way I never imagined. To be honest, I was nervous about consulting with a male doctor. I assumed a female would be able to better empathize. Boy was I wrong! He was wonderful! In my own experience, I've found the more specialized a doctor is, the more detached they become from the patient as an individual. But not Dr Mersol-Barg! He educated me (I love to learn!), he really studied my symptoms and came up with a new round of recommendations. He wasn't about to jump to any conclusions, or treatments, until he had a thorough grasp of what was going on. I'm a difficult case, in my opinion. I fall into that "unexplained infertility" category. This was the first time in discussing my struggle that I didn't cry. I felt so comfortable and so cared for that my anxiety disappeared.

Rated 5.0 A year ago today (1/6/2015), I took a leap of faith, decided to get a second opinion, and had our first consult with Dr. Mersol-Barg. I was immediately comforted that he had read all of my medical history and intake forms before my arrival, and explained everything in a way to me that I could understand. He confirmed with me what I had already suspected about my diagnosis (however the previous REI kept brushing me off when I suggested the possibility). He spent a great amount of time with me, making sure he fully understood our history, what we had already done along our almost 3 year infertility journey, and suggested that we move onto IVF. I felt such a comfort that he was not rushed during the consult, and he wanted to make sure I left knowing our options and what would be to come in the months ahead. Dr. Mersol-Barg and the entire staff truly care about each patient and their fertility journey, such compassion I felt during each monitoring, blood work, ultrasound, and procedure; and we almost always left there with a hug and encouraging word from one of them. The best call I ever received was the entire staff gathered around Dr. Mersol-Barg's office shouting "you're pregnant!" And all of them celebrating with us! We are so blessed that we stepped out of our comfort zone, and now I'm holding my precious miracle, our sleeping beauty Annabelle. Will highly recommend to all of my patients one day!

Rated 5.0 I cannot thank these professionals enough for what they've done for me and my husband. So many other doctors missed so many things, but Doctor Mersol-Barg knew within minutes of meeting me what was wrong. 3 months and 2 IUIs later, and we are expecting our beautiful baby girl to arrive just in time for Christmas. The staff was so helpful and compassionate and the doctor was amazing. Our family will finally be complete!
