Rated 5.0 "A very nice place to experience authentic Indian sweets. When most sweet shops say that their sweets are made fresh daily, you know they don't mean it, but this place, you can feel it and just the taste alone will tell you it's fresh".

Rated 5.0 "What a lovely place to get pampered with Indian snacks and dessert ! You would never be disappointed there. This place will perfectly refresh you with their masala tea or coffee and will certainly fill your heart with a vast storehouse of naturally made authentic Indian sweets. My favorite among the sweets is Malai chumchum and pista barfi. If you are looking for a delicious snack, try their lip smacking vegetable chop, bhelpuri or chaat. Lovely cosy ambience and wonderful hosts".

Rated 5.0 "Mithai Cafe is great. We had the vegetable chop, Samosa, Kachori, Chai..wish had space for more...each of the dishes were tasty. We tried a few sweets - Mango Sandesh, Rasagoola, Motichoor laddoo - they were equally tasty and did remind me of the bengali sweets. The dishes and sweets are authentic, made in-house, fresh and yum. Worth going there and we will become regular customers to the place. > > I understand they make customized sweets as well. Will eagerly wait for an occasion to order something from them"

Rated 5.0 As a longtime vegan, I've never had authentic vegan Indian sweets that aren't homemade. I recently moved to Durham and when I heard that Mithai has four vegan sweets, I was eager to try them. The drive to Cary was definitely worth it! I tried the Boondi Laddu and Kaju Katri and both are fresh and delicious. I'm looking forward to trying the other sweets and the savory snacks.

Rated 5.0 We had been for two weeks in Cary and one of the client took us to this place. It was really a wonderful experience.. quite a distinct variety of sweets.. loved rasmalai, singada and tea. We went twice and could not get much of it. Will definitely visit again. Recommend you to check this place out when in Cary. Get the home and Bong feeling to the core.

Rated 5.0 My father and I stopped in on a whim and were pleasantly surprised at not only how quaint the place was, but how attentive and eager to educate the woman who helped us was. She not only let us sample each of the different types of desserts, but she explained about how they were made and what made each desert different. The prices are fair and the food delicious! I will most certainly be going back.

Rated 5.0 Generally I love Indian food but have never tried any sweets (I know, right?) I have tried several here and love the fudge - both pistachio and chocolate almond. It is sweet but not too sweet - just perfect for my taste. The Owners are friendly and the Chai tea is excellent. Thank you for a great experience!

Rated 5.0 My husband and I love the masala chai and coffee, and my daughter thinks the hot chocolate is the best ever. Honestly, everything I have gotten there has been homemade and delicious, especially the savory food. It is locally owned by the wonderful Davina, committed to fresh, local ingredients, and a cozy spot to have a small break during the day. Go, you will love it!

Rated 5.0 When I was little, envious that her grandchildren had recently started to prefer store bought 'western chocolate' to her homemade desi sweets, my grandmother went to great lengths to source cocoa powder from a faraway market. Armed with that and a whole lot of love, one day, she made and offered us her version of a chocolate burfi- to us it tasted like heaven, better than any candy wrapped in shiny plastic. It is this exact memory (and taste!) that came back to me when I took a bite of Mithai Indian Cafe's chocolate burfi. In a world of big chain mithai brands where the sweets are too sweet or too brightly colored or have ingredients you cannot pronounce, or have been sitting in box for too long, and there is no way to tell if they were made by a person or a machine, this little unassuming cafe with its owner who clearly has a deep respect for tradition, and for the ingredients (minimal, fresh and locally sourced) that go in the desserts, resulting in perfect little sweets, each of which tell her story, is a refreshing and welcoming change!

Rated 5.0 The place has some potential, but I was appalled this morning when I ordered some coffee to go with the two boxes of sweets I wanted to try. The guy working there first tells me he doesn't have coffee, yet I could see the coffee in the grinder. When I tell him that, the answer was that his boss doesn't let him make the coffee because he works by himself and he has work to do in the back.

Rated 5.0 It was our daughter's wedding and we wanted Bengali authentic sweets. Our friend in Cary suggested us to try Mithai Cafe. So glad we did. The Mango and Khajuri sandesh are out of the world. AMAZING 10/10 ! Our guests loved the sweets we ordered. The owner Debina is terrific, very helpful and super knowledgeable about the food. We love this place because they offer unique menus, items that are sure to please.

Rated 5.0 A great place for getting authentic Indian sweets. I tried their Samosa, Kaju Katli and pista katli. All these items were very sumptuous. The management of this cafe is very courteous. They offered me a complimentary cup of tea and spent few minutes to explain their products. I wish Mithai Indian Cafe a good luck.
