My name is Asha Chaudhary. I am Ph.D in Nutrition and a Certified Transformational Nutrition Coach. But I didn’t grow with a very good and healthy relationship with food. I always struggled with my weight and unhealthy eating habits and I was simply addicted to sweets. Things were worse when I went to college, I neglect my health over my studies and career, always used to feels overtired, low in energy and felt completely helpless over my food choices. I was heavier of my entire life. I gained almost 50 lb in the first 6 months. I had no energy, and I was shocked when I saw my cholesterol and sugar level was at risk only at the age of 26. So I decided to make a change but couldn’t keep it as I had no time for that, was too busy to put my health on priority. I tried diet as a quick fix but within the first week, I felt more deprived and more irritable, frustrated. Then I decided to make my own healthy choices once for all. I follow the principle of “freedom, moderation and mindful eating”. I got great results, lost weight in a healthy way, felt better like never before. I earned a lifestyle, permanent change, never ever felt that craving again. My daughter is my biggest teacher. Believe me, it’s not that easy to make my daughter eat spinach, broccoli just by telling her, that Eat your veggies, because it’s healthy and stay away from junk food. The more you teach them nutrition, more restriction, more they craved for it.
