Oak Bay Optometry has been in business for 20 years, and prides itself on its approach to customer service. This is our home and you’ll be treated like family as soon as you walk in the door. Even if you’re not a patient, the team will be pleased to help you with repairs and provide free adjustments to your eyeglasses. We really go the extra mile for our patients and we want to take care of our clients. A lot of our patients have been coming here for years; the quality of our eye exam is top level. Our caring atmosphere is a big reason that patients continue to return for all their eye care needs. Dr. Paterson, Dr. Sutter, and Dr. Paquette have each participated in volunteer eye care trips to developing countries such as Ethiopia, Nicaragua, and Honduras. We continue to collect gently-used glasses to take places where people are unable to access eye care due to poverty or lack of availability. Our doctors are also involved in the community and participate in public seminars several times a year. In addition, Dr. Paquette visits Haida-Gwaii twice a year and Klemtu annually to provide eye exams to First Nations people in remote communities.
