The Oriental Supermarket was first founded by Don and Mai Pham with a small shop in Rutland and the simple idea of bringing cultural foods to the city of Kelowna, BC. The concept was simple, make a grocery store that will promote cultural integration into the city with it’s absence of a “China town” or any specific ethnic district. It wasn’t long before the store grew larger and the demand for worldly foods grew. At our current location on Highway 97, we have over 8000 square feet of food from all over the world. We strive to give our customers a diverse assortment of foods for whatever they are making at home or in their restaurant. We are always growing and aiming to improve our selection to help serve you better. Custom orders and requests can always be made to find that hard-to-get product that you just can’t find anywhere else. We are also your one-stop-shop for other worldly delights such as specialty cookware, house ware and much more! We have a wide selection of products that you won’t find anywhere else. Our selection has grown to include foods from Vietnam, Philippines, Japan, Thailand, India, Jamaica, Mexico, Korea, Indonesia, and more!
