Rated 1.0 This is regarding our tour to New Zealand and Australia from November 2 -17, 2019. Airline booking for my wife and me was totally mishandled by Pollina Tours and Travel. We made payments months in advance of the tour and yet we did not have our tickets issued until 10 days before our trip to New Zealand and Australia. I wrote several emails in this regard to Pollina but did not get any response. My telephone requests fell on deaf ears. I personally had to make calls to New Zealand Agent, essentially doing what Pollina was paid to do. Some members of our tour group were charged twice for upgrading their seats and it took more than six weeks to get their money back from Pollina. All in all it was a very mismanaged trip.The owner of Pollina Tours, Mr Inayat Masih, is very nice to talk to but that is where it all ends. When our flight from Queenstown to Melbourne got cancelled due to bad weather, the first words that came out of Pollina were " You are on your own. Book hotel on your own for the night" Can you imagine being told like this in a foreign country? Our Guide eventually booked the hotel for us when pressured to do it by us, of course on our expense. The Indian restaurants that Pollina had provided for us were "Terrible". I am surprised how Pollina got such good reviews. I guess you only know how good the tour company is by their actions when there are problems. I would have given zero star if I could. We will not travel again with Pollina. Review by Hem V.
