Prasad Ayurveda is a family owned company of young families who care deeply about the holistic well being of its clients. Our goal is to provide our clients with a comprehensive selection of essential elements of a healthy diet based on the ancient teachings of Ayurveda. Through our products we seek to promote health, vigor and an opportunity to get the most from life. Ayurveda, “the science of life”, is the ancient healing system of India that dates back over 5000 years. Ayurveda is based on principles that consider every aspect of life in terms of the mahabhutas or the five elements of ether, air, fire, water and earth. Health is defined as a balance of the five elements, while disease is the result of an imbalance.The focus is on maintaining health and harmony between one’s mind, body, and soul and the environment that surrounds us. Ayurveda studies the whole person, what his/her natural balanced state is and where the imbalances lie.
