About Red Zen Restaurant

The name Red Zen signifies meditation. This name was chosen to represent the exceptional fusion cuisine of RED ZEN, a unique blend of Chinese, Indian and other Asian and Western influences. By combining the freshest ingredients with a wide variety of Asian sauces and spices, I have created a menu that celebrates the unique flavors of Asian and Western cooking. All the dishes from appetizers, sauces to desserts are all freshly housemade. This innovative blend of taste reflects the forces at work behind the creation of RED ZEN. I am a Hakka Chinese descent and was born and raised in India and have lived in the United States for many years. I graduated from the Culinary Institute of America and polished his cooking skills in Manhattan restaurants, including the Post House.
