Rated 5.0 I came to Royals in August 2016 for a 2-hour lesson on driving manual transmission in anticipation of a new car I was buying. I had previously taken another 2-hour lesson with a different instructor/school so I felt like I had the fundamentals, but I was certain I wasn't ready to drive. Fortunately, my instructor at Royals had the extreme patience required to sit through all of my awkward start, stops, and stalls. He didn't rush me and really made sure I had it down. Now, 9 months later, I consider myself a very good manual driver and have no troubles at all. I'm grateful for my lessons here, money well spent.
Rated 5.0 I give this place 5 stars because it wasn't disappointing...i was really sceptical about this after reading the negative reviews on yelp...and kinda hoped I wasn't the next on the list to have a bad experience...i also didnt know what to expect...i picked this place because of the pricing and strong recommendation from my mom (Yea she was a little persistent)...i was appointed JORGE and honestly he was quiet different from the negative reviews here...he was prompt, punctual, patient and most of all looking and pointing out errors...he knew exactly what is needed for the test and what is important for road safety too...he knows his job...and he isn't one but negative or annoying...he focuses on the road just as much as you...and tells you the possible mistakes and what errors they look for in behind the wheel test...i know Leo has a lot of recommendations here...but JORGE is the guy to pick...and he doesn't reach out for his mobile phone like mentioned about other instructors here...and yea I got my driving licence too...kudos to that...first attempt...and another tip...dont take.the test like getting your license is the biggest hurdle in life...
Rated 5.0 I highly recommend this driving school! The rates are lower than any other school I could find in the LA area. I took the 6 hour course and also used their car for the actual driving test. Long story short, I passed on the first try!!
Rated 5.0 I only had 2 weeks to take my license test before my permit expired so I desperately was looking for someone to teach me. My cousin recommended Leo to me from the Royal Driving School in LA and conveniently enough I called him and I was able to set up an appointment with him. I am so glad that I called him because in a span of less than 1 week I passed my test! I absolutely recommend Leo and Esther to you guys
Rated 5.0 Initially I was with a different driving school where I struggled to get much practice and failed my first test. Then I chose Leo as my instructor and guess what, I passed with 0 errors :) This is the first time I'm driving any vehicle and Leo was the best instructor I could have. He is always on time and flexible with the timings you would prefer. He is very patient, corrects and guides you constantly and makes sure you get it right. I would totally recommend this driving school.
