About Royal Driving School
In business for 17 years, we are family owned and operated. We understand that patience and professionalism are the key for our student's success, and years of experience have helped us adapt to the needs of our multi-cultural community. We present you with the most comprehensive driving program and essential information relating to the needs of both new and experienced motorists. Our lessons cover basic skills, driver preparation, various types of roads and vehicle maintenance. We ensure the instructor's undivided attention in the learning process, and are one of the few schools that have a standardized training system for instructors. Our driving instructors are certified by the Department of Motor Vehicles and have met all the requirements for licensing by the State of California, including inspections for safety. We are bonded and insured by a reputable insurance company. We provide training from novice to advanced drivers and also offer Pass Plus for newly qualified drivers. Our instructors are well qualified and experienced professionals (Both Male and Female) who teach defensive driving techniques, city driving as well as road and motorway driving with an extensive experience in driving techniques in English and Spanish Language. We provides lessons for everyone regardless of their age, gender, race, religion and sexual orientation. Today's teenagers want a driver's ed class that meets their needs That means using internet based technology and interactive lesson plans that don't put them to sleep. On the other hand, parents are looking for education at fair prices and a course that truly educates and prepares their child for the responsibility that comes with driving on California's congested roadways.

Rated 5.0 I highly recommend this driving school! The rates are lower than any other school I could find in the LA area. I took the 6 hour course and also used their car for the actual driving test. Long story short, I passed on the first try!!

Rated 5.0 I came to Royals in August 2016 for a 2-hour lesson on driving manual transmission in anticipation of a new car I was buying. I had previously taken another 2-hour lesson with a different instructor/school so I felt like I had the fundamentals, but I was certain I wasn't ready to drive. Fortunately, my instructor at Royals had the extreme patience required to sit through all of my awkward start, stops, and stalls. He didn't rush me and really made sure I had it down. Now, 9 months later, I consider myself a very good manual driver and have no troubles at all. I'm grateful for my lessons here, money well spent.

Rated 5.0 I only had 2 weeks to take my license test before my permit expired so I desperately was looking for someone to teach me. My cousin recommended Leo to me from the Royal Driving School in LA and conveniently enough I called him and I was able to set up an appointment with him. I am so glad that I called him because in a span of less than 1 week I passed my test! I absolutely recommend Leo and Esther to you guys

Rated 5.0 Initially I was with a different driving school where I struggled to get much practice and failed my first test. Then I chose Leo as my instructor and guess what, I passed with 0 errors :) This is the first time I'm driving any vehicle and Leo was the best instructor I could have. He is always on time and flexible with the timings you would prefer. He is very patient, corrects and guides you constantly and makes sure you get it right. I would totally recommend this driving school.

Rated 5.0 My instructor was Jorge. He has helped me fix my bad driving habits , and gave me valuable information and tips on what the DMV examiners are looking for the driving test. Also, he has taught me how to drive defensively for the test while showing me the mistakes, so that I can fix for the driving test to pass. He has good hand on training and is helpful all the way. Do not be shy to ask questions, which is what he is there for to help me become a licensed driver.

In case, you've taken your exam so many times already just know that "an expert knows he's an expert because he has failed a thousand times and a beginner knows he is a beginner because he has only failed once." Rated 5.0 I give this place 5 stars because it wasn't disappointing...i was really sceptical about this after reading the negative reviews on yelp...and kinda hoped I wasn't the next on the list to have a bad experience...i also didnt know what to expect...i picked this place because of the pricing and strong recommendation from my mom (Yea she was a little persistent)...i was appointed JORGE and honestly he was quiet different from the negative reviews here...he was prompt, punctual, patient and most of all looking and pointing out errors...he knew exactly what is needed for the test and what is important for road safety too...he knows his job...and he isn't one but negative or annoying...he focuses on the road just as much as you...and tells you the possible mistakes and what errors they look for in behind the wheel test...i know Leo has a lot of recommendations here...but JORGE is the guy to pick...and he doesn't reach out for his mobile phone like mentioned about other instructors here...and yea I got my driving licence too...kudos to that...first attempt...and another tip...dont take.the test like getting your license is the biggest hurdle in life...

Rated 5.0 I am a former student, at Royal Driving School, I wont lie when i started driving I was a bit anxious and thought I knew everything when it came to behind the wheel experiance. The instructors were awesome, down to earth and motivational people who strive in making their students succesfull and defensive smart drivers. My intstructors were nice and encouraging individuals who werent afraid to tell me about my mistakes as they say my improvement and experiance grow! I know this review is late but I owe it to them to give them a solid review they deserve for quality service! Thanks for helping me my liscense Royal Driving School continue educating smart excellent and defensive drivers on the streets of LA!
