About Sanskrit Academy

Sanskrit Academy is an organization founded by Dr. Sarasvati Mohan. The mission of the Academy is to promote the study of Sanskrit language and culture. The academy offers several resources to aid those interested in learning Sanskrit. Well-designed and structured courses are offered via in-person or correspondence. Sanskrit Academy offers both in-person and correspondence classes. All classes are currently taught by Vishwa Krishnamurthy, a senior student of Dr. Sarasvati Mohan. Classes are offered for both adults and kids ages 5 years and above. In-person classes are currently offered only in San Jose Course materials can be bought at the same location and will be available for purchase on the first day of the classes. Online classes are held via Skype.
