Rated 5.0 The moment I spoke to Pat. Girija Shankar, I knew I wanted him for the Pooja. He had such a good Hindi and such soothing voice that I was impressed. He arrived right on time and conducted pooja in extremely detailed manner. He also explained the meaning of each Vidhi in English for us to understand. At the same time he was also able to accommodate our infrastructure needs eg conducting havan in the balcony and bringing the dhoop inside so that we can cleanse the home and also not raise a fire alarm. With his guidance we timely completed the Pooja and welcomed the guests. Couple of our friends also wanted to reach out to him for poojas at their places. Over the years, we’ve conducted many religious ceremonies like Griha Pravesh, Satyanarayan Vrat Katha, Rudrabhishekh, and a 24-hour Sampoorn Ramayan Path. Most priests we hired seemed more focused on rushing through rituals than performing them properly. In November 2025, we organized a Sampoorn Ramayan Path where Mr. G.S. Pathak led both the opening and concluding ceremonies. I was truly impressed by his detailed, Vedic approach—especially the Navagraha Pooja and the beautifully done Hawan with a properly built 27-brick Vedi. After 28 years, I finally found a priest who performs rituals with devotion, not for money. I highly recommend Mr. G.S. Pathak for any Hindu ceremony.
