Rated 1.0 The guys were great and seemed knowledgable but of course they convinced me that the scotch guard treatment would help out. After a month the carpet was sticky and it attracted so much dirt/dust. $400 and the carpets looked worse. I found a local company and our carpets look just as clean as they did 6 months after they cleaned.

Rated 5.0 We recently had our bi-annual carpet cleaning for our upstairs. We have pets so we try to stay up on this. I have usually gone with the company who had the latest Groupon, but decided this time to go with Sears since I had heard from a friend that it was a great service for carpet cleaning. I was able to get prices (and a deal) online and make my reservation this way also. I received a confirmation call soon after the reservation was made, and then again, the day before the cleaning. Two staff members arrived on time, calling ahead to let me know they were on their way. They were pleasant as I showed them around the upstairs. We talked about our specific needs, and of course, they did try to upsell me on the protection/scotch guard stuff....they all do this. The entire cleaning took about 30 minutes. I looked around before they left and everything was done really well. Our carpets looked great! We will most likely use Sears again for our carpet cleaning. The cost was almost as good as a groupon deal!

Rated 5.0 I was able to schedule my cleaning and I got the day I wanted and scheduled the 8:00 - 1:00 time slot. I had a reminder call the day before which was nice, and another call the morning of (at about 7:50 am) from the driver saying he was on his way. The 2 guys arrived at about 8:10, did a walk through and got started! They were done in about 30-45 minutes. Very professional guys, and they did an Excellent job on my dirty carpets. They deodorized one room which was a pleasant and not a strong smell. He kindly suggested (no pressure at all) that I might want to get the Stain Guard treatment, and threw in a bit of a discount from the advertised price so I figured why not. I know it is good to do, and with all the pets I have I figured it was worth it. I'm very happy with them and I'll definitely use them again and will ask for the same Rep. BTW their prices were MUCH better than Stanley Steemer!!
