Shishu Bharati is a non-profit organization founded in 1980, dedicated to teaching Indian languages and culture to children growing up in the United States. With branches in Lexington (MA), Nashua (NH), and Walpole (MA), the school has become a trusted institution for families seeking to preserve their heritage while fostering a sense of community among younger generations. Managed entirely by volunteers, Shishu Bharati offers classes from kindergarten through eighth grade, covering language instruction, cultural education, and moral values that strengthen identity and pride. The curriculum integrates lessons on Indian history, traditions, arts, and festivals, helping students develop fluency in their chosen language while connecting deeply to their roots.
