Bharat Sevashram Sangha is an international religious and philanthropic organization of India originally founded by Acharya Swami Pranavanandaji Maharaj in the year of 1917. The sangha is well known for its selfless services to the people of India, working large scale for orphans and the poor. Swami Amarnathananda joined Bharat Sevashram Sangha at an early age and went through monastic training under the guidance of senior monks of the organization. Spending most of his training period in Delhi, Hardwar, Allahabad, Mumbai and Kolkata, Swamiji came to the west 1994 first in England and then moved to the United States of America in 1994. Presently Swamiji is the head of the New Jersey Chapter of Bharat Sevashram Sangha and travels all over the World preaching the ancient spiritual teachings of traditional scriptures of mother India. Swamiji specialized in Srimad Bhagavad Gita, which motivated him to write a new English commentary on this holy text which is under publication by the Munshiram Manoharlal Dass Publisher, in Delhi. Sri Gauri Siddhivinayak Temple of Houston would like to invite all devotees to attend this lecture, a rare opportunity to access the deepest wisdom of Srimad Bhagavad Gita in the English language.
