Manoj Chaman
Manoj had a flare for singing and from an early age had his first singing lesson with the harmonium. Within a few years he was attracted to western music and at sixteen he had formed a pop group which became very popular during his college years. His early training at home in Dehra Dun, India, gave him further musical experience as a rock singer in Europe.After moving to Canada in the 1970’s, the popularity of ghazals led him into the romance of sher-o-shyree. It was a time to learn, listen and relish the many ghazal performances across North America.
