Prapti Shah Chandrani, OD, I grew up in North Brunswick, New Jersey and graduated from North Brunswick Township High School. I chose to pursue a career in Optometry after graduating from high school, and was fortunate enough to be accepted into a joint 7-year accelerated program with the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Before I departed for my college adventures, I wanted to experience real-world optometry and was given the opportunity to work at Somerset Eye Care as a technician. My journey continued as I completed my Bachelor’s degree and moved to the greatest city in the world for my Optometric education at SUNY College of Optometry in “The Big Apple”.
