About Sri Somesvara Temple

Sri Somesvara contains 50 tons of hand-carved granite from India, is 100% Vastu, and employs Vedic technology in all ceremonies. The Vedic Pries, Pandit Prasad, is deeply devoted to maintaining the purity of Vedic tradition and making every ceremony a personal experience. Sri Somesvara is the first of five temples to be built at Mount Soma, a community that is being built according to the Vaastu Shastra guidelines for an enlightened city. All contributions will go toward Temple supplies, Temple upkeep, Pandit’s family, and other Temple expenses. As a result, you will receive the many blessings and benefits bestowed upon a supporter of the Temple, as well as the benefits of the service you have selected.

Rated 5.0 It is a beautiful well thought & planned temple in the mountains of NC. The ashram is also well equipped with all the facilities to stay overnight to experience a breathtaking gorgeous morning to wake up to.

Rated 5.0 This is a very peaceful place. The temple architecture is very good and the temple makes u feel very spiritual. I do not know the history of its build but I would like to know. This place is a must visit for all the interested people in and around Charlotte Raleigh and nearby places. Special mention for the climate when I visited. The mountain was covered with clouds which was shining bright when sun rays fell on it which made the surrounding more serene and beautiful. Would certainly recommend this to everyone.
