About Swar Sudha

Bharathi Palivela is an accomplished Carnatic classical musician and a graduate of the Berklee College of Music, Boston. During her formative years in India, Bharathi was a regular performer at the Andhra Music Academy, Vizag; All India Radio Yuvavani, Hyderabad; Parthasarathy Sabha, Chennai and the local music circuits of Hyderabad and Warangal. She went on to pursue her MA in Music at Madras University while training under Smt. S. Soumya, Chennai. Bharathi currently lives in the beautiful San Francisco Bay Area. She performs regularly at various venues in and around the city working with the amazing local Bay Area artistes. Bharathi also teaches Carnatic Classical music in the South Bay, Fremont, Berkeley, and San Francisco areas through her music school, Swara Sudha.
