About Tampa Bay Tamil Academy
TBTA is a truly secular Tamil language organization that is independent of religion, country, caste, political party and any other similar identities. TBTA is a nonprofit organization founded for Tamil language education, Tamil language enrichment activities and other closely allied purposes. There are 10 volunteer teachers committed to teach Tamil every Saturday at our main branch at Hindu temple of Florida.Tampa bay Tamil academy was formed by few of Tamil interested parents to teach Tamil to kids living in and around Tampa bay area. Hindu temple of Florida provides free space to conduct Tamil classes for Tampa Bay Tamil Academy. The first batch of Tampa Tamil School had 9 students and three teachers. Due to the commitment of the parents and the teachers for 2015-2016 school year we had 40 students and then grew to 65 students for 2016-2017 school year.
