The mission of Hindu Vedic Society is to promote religious and cultural aspects of Hinduism in Baton Rouge and surrounding communities by providing a place for worship, organizing cultural events, participating in civic activities, fund raising, encouraging private philanthropy and fostering cross-cultural ties with other religious and cultural organizations.
Bal Vihar is a place for showing our kids about the Hindu Culture, Society and Religion in a Fun and Loving environment. BalVihar in Baton Rouge is designed according to the BalaVihar educational modules of the Chinmaya Mission, Houston. This program was begun in 1982 and serves the necessities of the Indian people group with more than 200 understudies in Houston.
