About The Oakville Endoscopy Centre

The Oakville Endoscopy Centre is staffed by a unique team of gastroenterologists, all of whom have advanced training beyond even the average gastroenterologist in endoscopic (scoping) procedures, which are used to detect and diagnose colon cancer. In addition to their work at the Centre, they practice at the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. The team includes: Dr. Naveen Arya specializes in gastroenterology. A graduate of the University of Toronto (B. Sc, Human Biology) Dr. Arya completed his medical degree at the University of Western Ontario (UWO). After graduating from UWO, he completed his Internal Medicine residency at University Hospital in London, Ontario, where he was Chief Medical Resident in 2001. He received further training in Gastroenterology at the University of Toronto after which he completed two fellowships - one in Therapeutic Endoscopy.
