Waterford Banquet

Rated 5.0 It's 12:48am. There are kids in the fitness room under the age of thirteen with no supervision and a party going on next door. Tons of kids are entering in and out, bass is playing and thumping our wall, and worst of all the smell of weed is so strong our room wreaks of it. Picked up the phone to alert the front desk so we don't get a smoking fee and the phone didn't even work. The hotel is clean enough I guess, but we had to pay $350 to stay two nights and shouldn't have paid a penny over $200. The hotel also has no hot tub. The place is a little run down, but nice enough if it weren't for the ruckus going on next door. **Note, the hotel kicked them out, so there is that.

Rated 5.0 This is the 2nd time I've been here while my truck was being repaired at Freightliner. Both times the staff was EXTREMELY friendly and helpful, room was clean,comfortable and quiet. The Bistro they have here is basic but good. While it's off the beaten path I would recommend this motel to anyone stopping or vacationing in the area.

Rated 5.0 I had all my wedding events at Waterford this past June and all of them were a huge success due to this amazing venue. About 70% of my guests were from out of town and the convenience and affordability of having Clarion Inn connected to the banquet hall was so helpful and our guests really appreciated it. The staff at Clarion Inn made the process of booking a room block so easy for both parties. The food provided by Waterford was also what made our events unforgettable. I have lived in Illinois my entire life and there is no better Indian food than India House. There are so many food packages and menu items you can choose from depending on your budget and type of Indian cuisine. You can also get other foods like Mexican, Italian, and Middle eastern. The service of the staff at Waterford is remarkable. From the two banquet managers Pritesh and Arvin to Maria who handles the meal service you will not have to worry about anything. They have so much experience with parties of all sizes and cultures. In terms of layout, there is plenty of room to socialize in the lobby's and also in the courtyard. There's a beautiful gazebo that guests love taking pictures in front of. The inside has so much potential to transform into whatever you want it to be. The hall can be split up to four rooms. I have been to at least 10 weddings at Waterford and I have never been disappointed as a guest or as a client.

Rated 3.0 There was not an elevator for those with lots of luggage or handicapped to use freely, you need to get permission to use it and have someone unlock it for you. Not very handicap friendly at all. The staff was all very nice and it nice to know they have security walking the halls at night. And for being a smoke free hotel you could smell it among other things while walking the halls. The room was nice and clean as was the hall that we used.
