About Atlanta Hare Krishna Temple

The Atlanta Hare Krishna Temple is a spiritual community cultivating and inspiring people of all religions, nationalities and cultures in devotion to the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who we know by the name Krishna. All of our programs, festivals and celebrations are focused on glorifying God, Krishna, through singing, dancing, worship of the lord (aroti), discussing philosophy, and finally having vegetarian prasadam (sanctified food that has been first offered to the Lord) together. We believe in developing loving relationships, guiding, encouraging, and inspiring each other in spiritual practices and spreading the message of God, which simply stated is singing and chanting the Holy Names.
