By 1981 she had completed both beginning and and advanced teacher training at Mount Madonna, and began her studies of Ayurvedic Medicine with Dr. R.P Trivedi, former Professor of Ayurvedic Medicine at Benares Hindu University, in 1983. Sarasvatiji is Senior Faculty Member of the Rocky Mountain Institute of Yoga and Ayurveda, in Boulder, Co., which trains 200-hr and 500-hr Yoga Teachers, Yoga Therapists, and Ayurvedic Medicine practitioners.Ayurvedic Medicine is the major indigenous medical tradition of India and Nepal, where it is today a government-supported health.
