About Bangladesh Hindu Mandir Inc

The Bangladesh Hindu Mandir is a non-profit Hindu religious organization, actively fulfilling the spiritual, cultural, and social needs of the Hindu community of the tri state area of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Bangladesh Hindu Mandir is to perform religious rites, congregate to worship and hold religious and cultural festivals throughout the year. The Mandir will also hold discussions on Hindu religion and moral philosophy with a view to familiarise our posterity with the teachings and ethical value system of Hinduism.

Rated 5.0 Even though I stay only about 15 miles away, I had never had the opportunity to visit this temple before this Tuesday, Durga Ashtami 2015! Not only is the temple beautiful and very well-kept, the ambiance of the temple teleported me back home to Kolkata. I have not seen a Kolkata Durga Puja for over 17 years, the Durga Puja in the Bangladesh Hindu Mandir made up for the huge void I generally feel during the holidays.
