About Geeta Temple Ashram Inc
Geeta Temple is a center for spiritual enlightenment for the people in New York. Swami Jagdishwaranand established this temple in 1979 with the help of devotees. It serves the Indian community in New York with weekly programs and Hindu festivals on regular basis.Shri Geeta Mandir Nagpur, is one of the biggest temples in Nagpur serving the community since 1945. It organizes famous Hindu festivals involving citizens and children. The pictures on the left show Geeta Jayanti Mahotsava in which school children from 90 schools in the region participated.

Rated 5.0 Being the first Hindu temple in NYC, this temple lives up to it core. Very awesome design , Deity's statues and overall designs all over are very beautiful. It lightens up during festivals,gets really crowdy but loads of fun.

Rated 5.0 Its a wonderful temple, I went there in the afternoon when very few people were there, but I must say it was so peaceful, worry-free environment. The temple's interior architecture is beautiful, the pillars, etc..
