Rated 3.0 - As excessive as the opulence and grandeur is, it is beautifully done. On one of my visits one of the high priests was visiting and they made all the women move to the back which made me do a double take. Apparently to keep temptation away the women need to be moved back, even high-priests aren't immune to it. I was shaking my head all the way out.

Rated 5.0 Majestically hand crafted, Divine & Traditional Hindu Mandir (Temple) which is built by grace & guidance from HDH Pramukh Swami Maharaj in about only 17 months in year 2007.

Rated 5.0 One of the biggest attraction in Atlanta. Don't miss their Diwali fireworks show. They have some events on every Hindu festival. There are only 5 such temples so far in North America and this one is second best after NJ temple.

Rated 5.0 Landmark place in Georgia. This place doesn't show up in any 'places to visit in GA' list but it is definitely one of the places. Some might say it is not the perfect place but it is one of the best places to get familiar with Hindu culture.

Rated 5.0 Before going to this temple I wanted to read the reviews first. Granted, most of the reviews were incredible but there were some that were skeptical. However, I have always been taught to be open and I wanted to find out everything I could about this temple. First of all, this temple is all made with hand carved italian marble and hand carved turkish limestone. It's beauty is unparalleled and is incredible to behold. One thing that all visitors should know is that it is not considered respectful in the Indian culture to visit a house of worship wearing very little clothing. Please wear very long dresses(if you wear a dress at all) or pants and make sure your top is not revealing. This is simply out of respect. Also there are rules that guests may not enjoy but they are rules none the less. Just don't take photography past the points marked. Its simple to follow but even I noticed some guests were annoyed. I don't see why they were annoyed, it only made me pay attention to every amazing detail more. Now yes, I attended a ceremony called the aarti and I did notice men and women were separated. After the aarti was done I asked why this happened. The monks who dedicate their lives to this temple all have a vow of non-lust which includes not looking a women or even interacting with them. Purely out of respect for these incredible monks, the women of this temple agree to sit further away for the 5 minute ceremony simple to respect the monks vow. It has nothing to do with inequality or disrespect as many visitors keep getting the vibe of. Honestly, I am glad I read reviews before coming but now I am glad that I chose to find out answers. The staff are amazing here. They do come off rude but my Indian friend I was with said its simply becuase they are from India and have not grasped the language or proper phonetics. Truly though, they are wonderful and this temple is incredibly peaceful. If you want the full impact of how serene this temple can be go on a week day and just sit in peace. You will enjoy it as much as I have.

Rated 5.0 Peaceful environment as usual in many Hindu temples. Better to visit after 10 am so that you can visit shayona food court also if kids become hungry. BAPS saints hardworking attitude made this place very important for Hindutva and Indian people. Namaskar to his holiness shri pramukh swami Maharaj
